In 2002, TWEA was formed as a non-profit organization to aid local youth and youth-oriented groups, and to date it has donated thousands of dollars to the Special Olympics, California Highway Patrol Explorers, Future Farmers of America, the Boy Scouts of America and many others. Virtually every penny we make from our generous sponsors, from our events and from fund raising goes back into the community, either as direct donations or as family-type equestrian events. Cowboy Challenge. Play Days. Trail Rides. Ranch Sorting. Our events are open to all ages and any level of ability. And while we're always looking for new members to add to our all-volunteer group, you needn't belong to the TWEA to participate. The following links will take you to printable forms for:

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE ...
OUR FIRST EVENT, the Cowboy Trail Challenge, went well. We had some new riders participate. You can see pictures and results on the results page. We have another planned for June 20, but with a twist. Proceeds will go toward the “Relay for Life” cancer foundation. We also will have some playday events and will have a raffle for a Montana Silversmith “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” belt buckle. We’ll call it our “Walk-Trot-Lope, Trail Challenge for the Cure.” Special prizes and lunch are included to all paid entrants. For other guests, it’s $5 for lunch. We’re also putting the finishing touches on our “Spaghetti Western” dinner and fund-raiser. We had to change the date and place because of scheduling conflicts. It’s now July 24 at the Stallion Springs Community Center. Cowboy singer Tony Vice will be part of the entertainment, and we will be showing old Tom Mix Western movies. We’ll have some gifts to raffle, but we’re still looking for additional donations. So if you know someone you think would like to donate a gift, please ask them. They might say yes! Just keep an eye out for e-mails and check our website for updates on events. If you have any questions, give a call to any of our officers. Hope to see all of you on June 20 – and bring a friend. -- AL ANDERS, President
